2021 Vendor Information

Please read all of the following information carefully.  We know this is a lot to take it, but it is important to read and understand the process and options for 2021.  We will continue to update this page, as well as communicate with vendors, as we move forward.  The first section is about the in-person table availability and selection process. 

Our initial 10 vendor tables have been allocated at this time.  We may be able to accommodate additional tables as capacity restrictions continue to be lifted, but we cannot make any guarantees at this time.  We encourage you to look at our other vendor opportunities, and please email Megan Bishop ([email protected]) with any questions.

We have a great menu of options, so mix and match to find the right option for your organization and get in front of the eyes of your potential customers!

FAQs & Definitions

  • Q: What does "Virtual" In-Person mean?
    • A: Due to our known capacity limitations for our 2021 venue, we specifically designed additional options for our vendors to be able to interact and reach our in-person attendees even though the vendor is not there in-person.
  • Q: What are "Virtual" In-Person Add-Ons?
    • A: These are additional opportunities for vendors who are not physically there at our in-person event.
  • Q: What are my options to reach attendees for the virtual events?  Why isn't there a virtual vendor hall?
    • A: We recognized that virtual vendor halls are spotty, at best, in their success and return on investment to vendors.  With this in mind, we designed our Premium Virtual Sponsorships where a single vendor can choose to be highlighted at one of our virtual days, which include an opportunity for the sponsor to speak to attendees live and "in-person" for up to three minutes during the opening session.
  • Q: What is the Hall of Vendor Posters?
    • A: We are limited to 10 in-person tables this year, plus we know some vendors might still not be allowing travel, so even if you don't have a table at our in-person event, you can still get in front of the eyes of potential customers!  Design your own 24'' x 36'' poster to be displayed at the in-person event.  You can advertise a raffle, a promotion, utilize a QR code to direct customers to a specific web page, etc.  Please click HERE for an example we designed.  A poster in the Hall of Vendor Posters is just one great way to be involved in #NELA2021.  Make sure to check out all of our options before making your final choice.
  • Q: What is the Virtual Vendor Newsletter?
    • A: This is your chance to reach ALL NELA members!  Not just those who are registered for an event.  It will be emailed out prior to each virtual event.  Please check out these links for Example #1 and Example #2 of the newsletter.  Final design TBD.
  • Q: I didn't get an in-person table or I'm still not allowed to travel.  Are there any options available to me to reach the attendees at the in-person event?
  • Q: My company wasn't chosen for an in-person table, why should I choose one of the additional options?
    • A: We miss our vendors and wish that we could accommodate everyone who wishes to attend in-person.  However, our ultimate goal is to continue to partner with our vendors and help you get in front of the eyes of your potential customers, even though it may not be in the "traditional" in-person way that we are used to.

In-Person Table Info

NELA is very excited to be forging ahead and planning for a 2021 event!  The in-person event is scheduled to take place at Holy Cross on October 18th.  The current capacity restrictions limit us to 100 people in the building.  This includes all attendees, speakers, NELA staff and volunteers, and vendors.  We hope these numbers will be increased by October, but there is no guarantee.  With this information in mind, we are currently limited to 10 vendor tables, and we are only allowing one vendor rep per table.  This will enable us to accept more attendees registrations, which means more customers eyes coming in to view your tables.

To be as fair as possible, we are implementing a lottery system to allocate the 10 vendor tables.  No payment is due in order to enter your organization into the lottery.  If your organization is awarded a table, we will be asking for either payment or proof of purchase order by July 31st.  With such a limited amount of tables, we want to be able to allocate the table to another vendor if the original vendor is no longer able to attend.

The deadline to enter the lottery Friday, May 7th.  We will begin notifying the selected vendors the following week, and continue to follow up with all vendors to confirm that all 10 tables are accounted for and accepted by the vendor and notify the remaining vendors that they have not been selected for an in-person table.

As an extra thank you, vendors will receive an extra entry for every 5 years that they have exhibited with NELA in the past.  All 2020 vendors will also receive an extra entry into the lottery as a thank for supported NELA last year.  PLEASE NOTE, YOU STILL MUST COMPLETE THE LOTTERY ENTRANCE FORM IF YOU WISH TO BE ENTERED.  NELA WILL NOT ASSUME THAT BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXHIBITED IN THE PAST OR EXHIBITED IN 2020 THAT YOU WISH TO BE ENTERED INTO THE 2021 LOTTERY.

"Virtual" In-Person A La Carte Menu

Choose a prepared sponsorship package (see above), or pick and choose from our a la carte menu.  Add up the cost of your a la carte items to reach a sponsorship package level and unlock extra rewards!  This menu was specifically designed for our vendors to participate and reach our in-person attendees even though the vendor is not there in-person.

For example, by choosing a Break Sponsorship ($500), you will automatically unlock the Bronze Package benefits.  Or, if you choose a Breakfast Sponsorship ($1000) AND a Break Sponsorship ($500), you will unlock the benefits of the Gold Package benefits.
